Indonesia signs US$38.4 billion trade deals with the United States

On February 18, Indonesian delegates were hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce to seal the final trade deal between the two countries valued at around US$38.4 billion. The agreements cover sectors from critical minerals, agriculture, energy and technology proven by the signing of the 11 memorandums of understanding. The deals also include cooperation between Freeport-McMoRan and the investment ministry to extend mining activity until 2041.
