Partnership rate card
Southeast Asia Daily covers politics, business and society across all eleven markets in the region, written by Southeast Asians reporting on the countries they live in. Because we publish it ourselves, we confirm the piece and the date before you commit, at a fixed price.
Why publish here
- Regional coverage
We publish and are read across all eleven ASEAN member states. Most outlets in the region cover one country, so the same announcement would otherwise be placed with three national platforms at three separate fees.
- In-country contributors
SEA Circle members are based in seven cities across the region and write about the countries they live in, in their own language. Material for each market is written locally, not translated afterwards.
- Five-day turnaround
Five working days from supplied copy to publication. You work directly with the editors and publication can be scheduled to a specific date.
- Permanent URL
Articles keep a permanent, indexed address. No paywall, no archive rotation and no removal at the end of a campaign period.
- Entry-level pricing
Articles range from €100 to €400. A single branded article at a flagship regional outlet starts at €1,500. A year of regular publication here costs roughly what one flagship placement costs.
Timeline
Stage 1: Enquiry and quotation (within 2 working days of enquiry – no charge)
We confirm the format, publication date, languages and fee in writing. No work begins until the quotation is accepted.
Stage 2: Copy
You supply the article or commission us to write it. Supplied releases are capped at 800 words, bylines at 1,000.
Stage 3: Editorial review (2 working days)
Edited to our in-house style and returned for your approval. One revision round is included.
Stage 4: Translation (adds 2 working days per language — on request)
Produced by a contributor writing in their own language.
Stage 5: Publication (on the agreed date)
Permanent URL, with placement on the homepage and in the relevant section.
Stage 6: Circulation (within 2 working days of publication)
Publication on our website and posts across Instagram and LinkedIn.

All prices in USD, exclusive of applicable tax. Prices are starting rates and final quotation is confirmed in writing before any work begins.
Articles
All published pieces include a permanent URL on sea-daily.com, placement on the homepage and in the relevant section. All partner content is labelled as such.

Terms
- Word limits
Supplied releases: 800 words; Supplied bylines: 1,000 words; longer material is quoted separately.
- Revision
One round included on all written products, before publication. Amendments after publication are at the editor’s discretion.
- Labelling
All partner content carries a partner-content label and is published separately from editorial coverage. Partnership does not influence what the newsroom covers.
- Turnaround
Service is expected to be delivered within five working days from approved copy to publication on written products. Event coverage follows the event date.
- Languages
Through our SEA Circle network, we can work in English, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Mandarin, Filipino (Tagalog), Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese.
- Payment
Invoiced on publication, payable within 30 days.
- Validity
Rates valid to 31 December 2026.
