Cambodia Accusses Thailand of Attacking Five of its Provinces

In the fourth day of conflict escalation, Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defence accused Thai Air Force for carrying out eleven attacks in Preah Vihear, Pursat, Battambang, Oddar Meanchey and Banteay Meanchey.

Cambodia alleged Bangkok of employing heavy artillery, smoke munitions, mass mobilisation, drones and F-16 fighter jets.

Regrettably, there was an increase in refugees. Cambodia recorded that approximately 101,000 people have been displaced person, meanwhile Thailand has also reported a growing number of displaced persons. Moreover, 10 people have died on the Cambodian side, while nine Thai soldiers were killed.

Reacting to that incident, the US President Donald Trump promised a phone call aimed at stopping the ongoing fight along 817 km of the Thailand-Cambodia border.
