On February 26, 30 nations joined the Cobra Gold, a multilateral joint training exercise across Thailand provinces that will last for eight days until March 8. The joint exercise is sponsored by the Royal Thai Armed Forces and US Indo-Pacific Command ‘to meet new challenges and improve the interoperability we need to defend our sovereignty and prosperity’. More than 8,000 troops are joining the drill, making it the largest initiative in Asia.
