Philippines Vice President, Sara Duterte, was targeted by an impeachment motion by the country’s Catholic clergy on January 9. The complaint was based on the suspected misappropriation of funds amounting to US$8.5 million from taxpayers. The filed complaint also included her alleged attempts to assassinate President Ferdinand Marcos. This is the third impeachment complaint against Sara in just over a week.
