Cambodia to host major ASEAN educational tourism event in April 2026

Cambodia’s Minister of Tourism Huot Hak has held discussions with representatives of KRYA Global on January 27, leading to a proposed educational tourism initiative aimed at strengthening regional travel to the Kingdom. Citing Cambodia’s strong infrastructure, hospitality, and sustained peace and security, the delegation announced plans to host an international educational tourism event in the country this April, expected to attract more than 700 participants from across ASEAN and beyond.

The Minister welcomed the initiative, noting its potential to support the tourism sector and enhance Cambodia’s standing as a destination for international meetings and events. He also expressed the Ministry of Tourism’s support for efforts that could help increase visitor arrivals from the region.
