Thailand accuses Cambodia of drone provocations after ceasefire

On December 29, the Thai Army accused Cambodia of breaching the ceasefire agreement signed only two days earlier.

The allegation followed a reported launch of around 250 Cambodian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or drones from Cambodia on December 28.
Thai authorities view this as a provocative act and that could endanger efforts to reduce tensions.

Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn rejected the accusation, describing the incident as ‘a small issue’.
