On December 29, the Chinese Foreign Minister (FM) Wang Yi met his Thai and Cambodian counterparts in Yunnan province, China.
FM Yi stated that China aimed to uphold the principles of the Global Security Initiative, emphasising the importance of fostering peace and stability. China offered any necessary assistance and efforts that could restore relations between Thailand and Cambodia.
As a result of trilateral meeting, conflicting parties will gradually consolidate the ceasefire, resume exchanges, rebuild political mutual trust, achieve a turnaround in bilateral relations, and safeguard regional peace.
