Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has returned to Cambodia on February 27, following a near two-week diplomatic tour to the US and Europe, centred on border tensions and regional security. The visit began in Washington D.C., with his participation in the inaugural Board of Peace meeting. During the trip, Hun Manet also engaged with international media to outline Cambodia’s position on its border dispute with Thailand and its efforts to tackle online scams.
In the US and Europe, the Prime Minister held talks with senior government officials and international leaders to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss regional stability. His meetings included discussions with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and other key figures, as well as European Union representatives in Brussels, underscoring Cambodia’s commitment to diplomacy and multilateral cooperation.
